Situated in the heart of Castle Vale, the stadium has played an active role in the football community for over 25 years. 

The site plays host to a variety of local teams including Castle Vale Town FC, Concords FC, Romulus FC and is used by the local secondary school; Birmingham Primary Schools also host all their district representative games at Castle Vale Stadium.

During the 2018/19 season Bolton Wanderers FC visited the Stadium to use it as a training venue prior to their visits to Aston Villa FC for a league and cup game.
